Grade 8 Health projects, we will be back in the lab Monday to do research.
Grade 7B Health, you will begin a new assignment in the large computer lab Monday.
Grade 7LA: Last Chance Summer Read aloud will be completed by Friday of next week, in class assessment to follow. You may use your notes that you took while you listened.

7ELA Tuesday, June 12: Language Arts Curriculum Outcomes( Linked to Last Chance Summer novel)
Speaking and Listening: “express clearly and with conviction a personal point of view and be able to support that position.”
Reading and Viewing: “make evaluations or judgments about texts and learn to express personal points of view.”
Writing and Representing: “ produce a range of writing forms (e.g, stories, cartoons, journals, speeches, reports, interviews, messages, poems, letters (business/personal) and advertisements. * You will choose one you prefer.
Assessment ( show what you know)
1. Is Marl a good person? Why or why not?
2. What do you think would be the most difficult aspect of Mr. Carleton Jenner’s job as the supervisor at the farm? Explain.
3. Is Topo the kind of person you would become friends with? Discuss.
4. Which facility would be better suited to deal with someone like Topo, Ryerson Institution for boys or the farm? Why? required.
5. After we have read to page 26 a skit will be performed. Your teams will prepare an improvisation of the “Field Trip”. Who will go with Mr. Jenner? Marl, Topo,Cal, Len, Brucie, Pete, Vilda? You have 15 minutes to prepare what you predict will happen!

June 4th to June 8
Grade 7 Health presentations began today for 7B. What an amazing start to our week! Not only did everyone meet the outcomes but most exceeded expectations! Well done grade seven, I look forward to the rest of the projects tomorrow. :)
Grade 8 Health: After your presentations this week we will be turning our attention to the Sexuality Outcomes. Please be sure to have permission forms in asap. Thanks!
