Grade 7E LA: Your presentations today were incredible!!! I remain so very proud of you. One group left to go tomorrow. Don't forget to finish your DVD cover project.
Last but not least....Awards Day!!!! Looking forward to seeing what you have created for your very memorable classmates. I made some for our entire class too! Looking forward to sharing these with you.
Grade 7FLA: Same as above except we will finish presentations tomorrow, 7E LA had one more class than you did. Can't wait for your Awards Day too!
Grade 8Health: STI chart completed, just finishing up the abstinence/methods of pregnany provention section.
Grade 7 Health: Finished slide show on abstinence, answering your questions tomorrow too.

Friday, June 17th

Grade 8 Health: Finishing the STI unit, please complete your chart if not finished. We had 2 periods in the computer lab to complete this.
Grade 7 Health: just finished Gender Stereotype unit.
Grade 7ELA: Amazing presentations today. You did not just meet the speaking outcomes today you exceeded expectations today!!!!!!! I was so proud of you!!!

Wednesday, June 15th

Grade 7ELA Communicating Effectively: Speeches due on Friday!!!!! Class time has been given and samples have been provided.
7FLA: I will not see you Friday, your presentations begin Monday, June 20th.
Grade 8Health: In computer lab on Thursday to begin our STI chart assignment.

Assignments and lessons up to June 13th

Grade 7 LA: Create Your Own Ending assignment now past due if not submitted on Friday.

Due Tuesday, your letter to your future "Grade Eight Teacher" highlighting why they are lucky to have you in their class. ( examples could include your strengths, aptitudes, etc ) Your second paragraph should include how you learn, what they should know to help you succeed in their class. Don't forget a nice closing to wrap up your masterpiece. :)
We also had an assessment today on Last Chance Summer. ( Valued at 15points) ( 7ELA only)
Grade 7 Health: Reviewed grade 6 vocabulary and moved on to explain the male and female reproductive systems.
Grade 8 Health: Outcomes covered this week were geared towards the various forms of abuse as well as the meaning of sexual orientation.

Tuesday, June 7th

7ELA Writing assignment due Friday! Don't forget to pay attention to our writing traits! I want this to be your very best report you have done all year!!!
7FLA: You had a one day head start and class time too so your papers are due Thursday.
Health for grades 7 and 8: Tomorrow we begin the Sexuality unit outcomes. If you have not passed in your permission slip yet, be sure to bring it tomorrow. If you are not participating in the program, see me and be sure to pick up your Health book to help you prepare for your research assignment.
