Dear Parents and Guardians:

       As your child may have told you, I was unavailable for interviews on March 7th and 8th. However, I would be more than happy to meet you with this week.  If you would prefer to contact me via email, or call that would be fine too.  I am always happy to meet with parents and I will do my very best to meet with you as soon as possible. Grade 7French projects due on Friday, March 15th. Students leaving early will be presenting on Thursday so you won't have to worry about homework on your March break! :) 
Grade 7 Language Arts poetry assignment due on Wednesday. Please read, The Best Day of My Life poem and complete the questions too. Thank you.  Also, please finish your Fears and Phobias Posters too!  
Grade 8 French presentations begin on Thursday! Looking forward to your Phénomènes canadiens presentations!

Grade 7LA mystery stories due tomorrow! ( Wednesday, Feb 27th)  * Double check your graphic organizer to ensure you have met all expectations.

Up to Friday, February 15th

Grade 7 Language Arts:  Read for 20 minutes.  If time, share your ideas for your Mystery Assignment with your family.  Remember our graphic organizer with characters, setting, clues, distractions, plot and conclusion? See if they have any positive feedback and suggestions for you. :)  We will negotiate our due date on Friday so please bring your agendas.  I am trying to avoid giving the same due date as Science, Social Studies etc. 

Grade 8 French: Le futur proche: je vais, tu vas, il va, etc... There will be a quiz so check out some youtube videos if you feel you need more practice. :)

Grade 7 French: Zone Sportive projet finale due on Monday, February 25th.  I love the enthusiasm, creativity and hard work you have displayed thus far! Très bien! Merci encore!

Up to February 11th

Grade 7 LA: Book reports now due on Wednesday, February 6th to allow students a last day in class to revise and edit.  Skits will be due by Monday, February 11th. Please read each day for a minimum of 20 minutes to build fluency and well...because it is fun. :)
Grade 7 French test on Friday, February 8th. Please review your notes and handouts on the past tense.
Grade 8 French presentations begin on Thursday, February 7th.
