This weekend, take some time to read. It could be a novel, graphic novel, newspaper, online magazine, Science book etc. You could even take the time to play the http://www.freerice.com/ game and learn some new words while helping others. :)

Grade 7 Language Arts
Today we took notes on our read aloud Killing Mr. Griffin by Lois Duncan. We also discussed the three questions that students reponded to yesterday. Students are truly justifying their answers now and I was most impressed by the quality of the responses I received. Thank you! :)
Homework: Grow some new dendrites within your brain by reading for 20 minutes minutes each night, any genre of your choice.

Students received a new handout today for the theme, "Zone Sportive". Students received 13 questions that they will answer and turn into their own book using an exemplar that is provided.
I look forward to learning from my students en français. :)
Paper is provided for the good copy but students are invited to bring in any art supplies that they wish to use.
