Important message for students and parents: All grade 7 and 8 students are writing or have completed a CASI Reading Assessment. This assessment is designed to guide our instruction. It will identify specific strengths and areas that need support. This assessment is a diagnostic tool and not a summative test for "marks". So, on Students Achieve, when you see CASI scores a 1 would mean experiencing difficulty, a 2 is approaching expectations, a 3 is meeting expectations and a 4 would be exceeded expectations. * Please disregard the percentages as this is not a summative assessment.
