Grade 7FLA : Skits complete! Well done ladies and gentlemen. I was most impressed by your bravery and talents in class. Read 20 minutes tonight please, any genre.
Grade 7ELA: Time cut short due to one hour delay. Double LA today so we will begin our skit presentations Wednesday. Read 20 minutes please.

For Monday, January 23rd

Grade 7LA: Reading for 20 minutes minimum please. Also, think about your skit that you will be sharing with our class. This will make Speaking Outcomes much more fun in class. :)
Grade 8French: Review your French vocabulary for our Consommaction test on Monday.
Grade 7 French: bring all of your supplies to class for your Zone Sportive assignment. Class time is given so I can help you along the way and monitor your progress.

Tuesday, January 17th

Grade 7 LA please read for 20 minutes selection of your choice.
Grade 8 French: Consommaction theme continues. Group projects will not take place unless every member is prepared to give their best tomorrow. It is unfair to have someone doing the majority of the work, so...if all members do not have their work with them tomorrow,team work will become independent work, if effort does not improve.
For those of you who give your best each day, well done.
Grade 7 French /Health: Excellent work on your questions and projects so far! It is so exciting to see how much effort you all give to your work each day! I am proud of you! :)

Grade 7 LA projects due today. Excellent presentations today, I was very proud of our brave volunteers. :) Read 10 minutes tonight please.
Grade 7 Health Bullying booklet, please pass in Tuesday if you have not finished yet. This was given out on Friday and class time was given.
Grade 8 French: review new vocabulary for your next quiz.

Grade 7ELA and 7FLA Secret Passage Writing Assignment due Monday. You have had lots of class time so you should not have much to do in the way of "home work". :) Triple check your work for the 6 Writing Traits. Remember the "Three before me" guidelines. Best work only please. Thanks!
Grade 8 French: New vocabulary Friday, be sure to complete this and try the fun art directions on the back too. How is your memory? :) If finished early, work on your Consommaction projects.
Grade 7B and 7G French/Health: Looking at some Health outcomes Friday and Monday. Read the article on Bullying, then do the response questions that follow. If finished early, you may return to your Zone Sportive projects.
