Grade 7 LA *Read every day for a minimum of 20 minutes. Classes will continue with their Persuasive Writing Essays. A rubric was provided, from there they will continue on with the Step Up theme. They will be completing Writing, Reading and Speaking outcomes. Ms. Gay will have student record homework in their agendas as she will not have a Blog. Students have class time to complete their work. They should not have a great deal of homework as I like to witness their progress as they complete their assignments.
Grade 7B and 7G Health will be covering the Career and Volunteerism curriculum outcomes! Student may choose from a variety of options to show what they know. www.voki.om, www.makebeliefcomix.com, bitstrips, www.careercruising.com * username (summerside)and password( intermediate) to explore careers of interest to them! Artistic students may choose poster board for their displays should they so choose. :)
Grade 8G Health: This group will be covering the curriculum outcomes in the LifeLearning section. You can access the outcomes online should you like to see each outcome by subject and grade level. * Google the PEI Dept of Ed and on the left you can click on educators then go the the link on curriculum documents. It is all on line so you can be aware of expectations.
* Class time will be given as well as computer lab time to work on projects.
