Grade Seven Language Arts: 7ELA You need to finish your Reading Response Questions for Monday, May 31st.
7FLA, we just began the questions so you can have until Wednesday.
Grade 7 and Grade 8 Health: Reminder to pass in Health permission slips as we will begin the Sexuality Outcomes. If students do not have forms in, a research project will be completely independently in the library related to alternate Heatlh outcomes.

Monday, May 25th

Grade Seven Health: Working on Role Plays we will begin presentations tomorrow for 7G 308.
Grade 8 Health: Continued working on Chapter 5.
Grade 7 LA: Fears and Phobias Role plays and scripts submitted, one team left to present. We also continued with our read aloud.

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Grade Seven LA: Working on our Role Plays today. Read for 20 minutes minimum.
One copy of your quotations must be submitted and presentations begin for 7E tomorrow and 7F begins on Tuesday.

Grade Seven Health: Dealing with Stress. Finish "Clothesline activity" for Tuesday.
Grade Eight Health: Band concert today during 6th period.

Grade Seven Health completing chapter six Health review this week and responding to an online article.
Grade Eight Health: Finishing Through a Blue Lens questions as they missed Health class last day due to Science field trip. One day extension granted as these trips are valuable too. :)
Grade Seven Language Arts: Responding to Fear transparency and working on summarizing articles. Also, if time, P. 69 in Student Anthology.

Monday, May 10th to Friday, May 14th

Grade Seven Language Arts: This week we begin to focus on the new them on Fears and Phobias. Our main goals this week are to improve our skills when summarizing main ideas. Also, we will examine adverbs and their role in sentences.
Grade Eight Health presentations begin tomorrow!!! I look forward to seeing what each team member will bring to the unit on drug use and abuse.
Grade Seven Health: The unit we are covering this week is linked to the Safety and Responsibility outcomes. Chapter Six will be completed this week as well as reading response questions.

Last day to complete Language Arts Mystery Story. After much class time, most have finished their stories but if you have not, papers are due tomorrow!!!!!!!! ( May 4th, 2010)
It is essential they come in on time, not just because it is an expectation but also your partner is relying on you for the exchange/constructive critique.
