We have begun a read aloud entitled Killing Mr. Griffin by Lois Duncan.
There are in class activities to complete each day. We completed our "Someday" goal setting activity. Our next assignment is a skit created by students in class. :) Presentations begin on Thursday, November 26th, 2009.
Key areas to keep in mind:
Volume, tone, body language, pacing, facing audience, on task.
Looking forward to witnessing your creations first hand this week!!!! :)
* Homework: I give class time for assignments, I just ask that students read a selection of their choice at home for a minimum of 20 minutes each day.
